These problems are not only reserved for beginners, but also for people who have experience working with these softwares.
So what are we going to do then today? Our goal is to solve some of the very common problems and these are texture repetition as well as tiling
according to wiki
Symmetrical texture repetition is defined as the perception of textures becoming mirrored repeatedly over their own surface in an intricate and symmetrical fashion that is consistent across itself. This maintains the same level of detail no matter how closely one attempts to look at the distortion and tends to remain most prominent within one's peripheral vision. It usually manifests itself in rough textures such as grass, carpets, tree bark, and asphalt.During this state, if one stares at a fixed point the symmetrical texture repetition may progressively increase and further tesselate into more complex forms. However, this progression of complexity will usually reset back to baseline as soon as one double takes.
The technique I will use today is very simple and requires less than 2 minutes of work.
First let's create a new landscape we need a little bit I will use 7x7 Quads
After that I will use the texture and the material you can use any texture of your choice just make sure it is customized later
i will use this from the quixel bridge
Let's create new material. I'll call this NewGround
Now we will open new material and create us blueprint for texture
As in the picture below, here are the settings I use
Multiply -0.064419
if you want to use without a parameter and with a parameter it is
0.05
besides watch this video for more details and it was easy right?
